01. Your cards stay with you
Kopstad Reward Cards stores card names, barcode content, colours, icons, favourites and notes locally on your device. The app does not require an account. We do not operate a server that receives your cards, and the app has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDKs.
02. Camera and selected photos
The camera is used only when you choose to scan a barcode. Camera frames are processed on your device and are not recorded or uploaded by the app.
When you select a photo using Apple's photo picker, the selected image is processed locally to read its barcode. The app saves the barcode content and format, not the photo. You can revoke camera permission in device Settings.
03. Backups and sharing
Exported backups contain readable card numbers, names, notes and customisation settings. You choose where to save them. A service you select, such as a cloud storage provider, may receive that file under its own privacy policy.
Device backups managed by Apple may include the app's local data, depending on your device settings. The app does not provide automatic card synchronisation.
04. Clipboard
If you choose Copy number, the card number is placed on your device's clipboard with a two-minute expiration and local-only sharing requested. Other apps you paste into may receive it.
05. Deleting data
You can delete individual cards or all cards in Settings. Deleting the app removes its local data subject to the operating system's backup and retention behaviour. Exported backups and system backups must be managed separately in the locations where you saved them.
06. Purchases
Apple handles the paid app download through the App Store. We do not receive your payment card details through the app. Apple's handling of purchase information is covered by its own privacy policy.
07. Support and this website
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Your email provider and ours process that correspondence. Please avoid sending full card numbers or barcode images.
This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process ordinary web request information, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the site. We do not add advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies to these pages. Hosting and email providers may retain operational information under their own policies.
Opening a website from the app uses your browser. The app does not upload your saved cards when opening a support link. For information about the hosting provider, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
08. Children and sensitive information
The app is a general-purpose card organiser. We do not knowingly collect children's information through the app. Do not store payment card details, passwords or identity documents in card notes.
09. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the app's features or data practices change. The date above identifies the latest update. For privacy questions or requests about information you sent to support, use the contact details on this page.
